Team Foster Events

charlie mike. [Continue Mission]

Team Foster events, including cycling, spin events and Veteran fundraisers are expanding! In addition to live events, we’ve launched virtual cycling and fundraising events to extend support for our Veterans year-round.

Choose an event and test your own physical and mental strength. As a recruit, your responsibility is clear: charlie mike. In military speak, that means Continue Mission.

Register for an event today, and power through until your mission is complete.

Capital to Capital

The only one if its kind, Team Foster’s Capital to Capital event begins in the former United States Capital, Philadelphia, PA on April 29, 2023. Continuing on April 30, 2023, cyclists will ride to the finish line in Washington D.C.

Capital to Capital is a fully supported and escorted 150-mile ride from Philadelphia, PA, to Washington D.C. Mechanical support and luggage transport from start to finish is provided for all participants.

Day 1 participants will ride to the halfway point near Kent Narrows, MD.
Day 2 participants will start near Annapolis, MD.

Ruff Ride PHL

Join Team Foster on June 3-4 at Citizens Bank Park for Ruff Ride Philadelphia! Ruff Ride is part festival, part competition, bringing together a fantastic community of companies, service organizations, and groups of friends to form teams to sponsor a stationary spin bike. Teams compete against each other for bragging rights throughout the event all while raising funds for Team Foster. It is literally the only event of its kind; Ruff Ride brings all the fun and energy you can handle for 24 hours.

Foster 100

The Foster 100 Classic is Team Foster’s signature event and a worthy physical, mental and fundraising challenge. As a recruit your responsibility is clear: charlie mike. In military speak, that means Continue Mission — never give up until you complete your mission. The Foster 100 Classic participants commit to fundraising a minimum of $200.

Foster 100 Week challenges participants to ride independently, logging at least 100 miles between Monday, September 4, 2023, and Sunday, September 10, 2023. Foster Week participants will have the opportunity to join training rides throughout the summer leading up to The Foster 100 Classic. Foster Week participants commit to fundraising a minimum of $100.

Ruff Ride PGH

Join Team Foster in October 2023 at The Petersen Events Center for third annual Ruff Ride Pittsburgh!

Oil Region Ride

In honor of Oil City native, Captain Erick Foster, you are invited to participate in the Oil Region Family Ride taking place on Saturday, August 12th. Participants challenge themselves to honor CPT Foster’s legacy by pushing themselves and inspiring those around them to do the same, just as Erick did. Riders can ride *up to* 100 miles in a 25-mile loop, starting and finishing in Oil City, PA.  After the ride, all participants are invited to join us for a celebration at Scierka’s Tavern. Every registered participant will receive a $10 voucher for food and drinks.

The McMasters Open

Registration for the 2023 McMasters Open is now open, and the goal is simple: fully fund one service dog each year.  The McMasters Foundation and their annual McMasters Open golf tournament raises money to support Team Foster’s mission. Majority of McMasters Open proceeds is directly donated to Team Foster and the remainder is retained to grow the event and its future impact to subsidize Veteran event fees. Who will win the Angler’s cup and McGreen Jacket in 2023?
