We’re proud to announce that Dog Days of Winter is brought to you in partnership with the Penn Medicine Veteran Care of Excellence Program (VCEP) and the Penn Veteran Collaborative. Together, we’re fostering independence for those who served, providing life-changing service dogs to veterans who need them. The challenge not only promotes physical activity but also fosters a sense of community engagement and support for the Veteran Community.
It’s time to turn the fall and winter chill into a heartwarming competition! Join us from November 11 – January 31 for the Dog Days of Winter, a friendly fundraising contest to support Team Foster's mission to provide service dogs to injured and disabled Veterans.
Registration is $25 per participant and registration. If you are a student, use coupon code: STUDENT for a discount at registration!
How it Works:
Miles Challenge:
Downloading and linking Strava is the easiest way to track your miles. To create a free account, visit https://www.strava.com/ or download the app.
In addition to participants tracking their milage, we are also asking participants to fundraise a minimum of $50 each. If you are creating a team, we ask that the team raises a minimum of $500.
Every participant that fundraises $50 will receive a Team Foster Dog Days of Winter Medal! Fundraisers may also earn Team Foster gear! All gear will be received after the challenge has been completed.
