Joe Crandall is an accomplished leader, veteran, and entrepreneur, currently serving as the owner and managing partner of Greencastle Associates Consulting. Since joining the company in 2012 as the Director of Client Engagement, Joe has played a pivotal role in driving its growth and success. His journey with Greencastle reached a significant milestone in 2015 when he became a partner, and in 2019, he purchased the company from its founder, Celwyn Evans, cementing his vision for its future.
Joe’s professional journey began with a distinguished military career. In 1989, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy as an Electronics Technician. His dedication and talent earned him an appointment to the United States Naval Academy, where he graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering. Following his commissioning, Joe underwent Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) training, joining the elite ranks of Navy SEALs. He served with SEAL Team 5 until 2003, leading high-performing teams in challenging, high-stakes environments that demanded discipline, strategic thinking, and operational excellence.
After transitioning from military service, Joe entered the private sector, beginning a successful career in sales. He honed his skills with industry leaders such as Pfizer, GetWellNetwork, and GE, gaining valuable insights into business operations, client engagement, and leadership. These experiences laid the foundation for his transition to the consulting field, where his passion for problem-solving and team building flourished.
