The Foster 100

The Foster 100 is a 100-mile cycling event from Veterans Island in Pennsauken, NJ, to the shores of Cape May. The route includes about 1,700 feet of climbing elevation, four fully stocked rest stops along the way (with puppy love!), and a boutique, fully supported format. For 2024, we are adding three new options: the Foster Metric, Recruit Your Platoon, and Return Transportation.

The Foster Metric is a 64-mile cycling event leaving from Bridgeton NJ,  continuing to the shores of Cape May. The route includes two fully stocked rest stops along the way and will also be a fully supported format. All funds raised benefit Team Foster, raising money to provide accredited, life-saving service dogs for injured and disabled Veterans.

All Foster 100 participants receive:

2024 Foster 100 Commemorative Jersey

- 2024 Foster 100 long-sleeve tech tee and swag items - All-inclusive & catered After Party Ticket

RECRUIT Your Platoon:

For the first time, cyclists may create their own platoons (teams). This is your opportunity to choose your own platoon-mates and pace. Guidelines to Recruit Your Platoon:

  1. All platoons must have at least 10 registrants (this may include Foster 100 and Foster Metric participants; at least 8 cyclists must start at the Foster 100 start line);
  2. Platoons must assign one rider as the platoon leader and this platoon leader *must* attend the platoon leader meeting (August 24);
  3. Platoons must provide a SAG vehicle driven by a non-rider. All platoons, including create-your-own, must stay together at all times;
  4. When you register, you will provide your platoon's target speed. Your start time will be based on this speed and other logistics concerns.

Your platoon may be made up of both Foster 100 and Foster Metric cyclists. Foster Metric riders will be provided a time to report to the Metric Start Point. Please select "Create a Fundraising Team" during the registration process.

Please note: Recruit Your Platoon are expected to abide by all of the same guidelines as traditional platoons. All platoons must ride together.  Any platoon who shows up without the required number of cyclists, without a SAG vehicle & driver, or out of uniform will not be permitted to participate.
