Mission

[Mission Support]

More than one in four Veterans suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD.[1] Yet, neither the U.S. military nor the VA provide adequate resources to for service dogs to partner with Veterans suffering from PTSD or traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Team Foster recognizes that service dogs are a vital tool for our Veterans’ rehab and recovery and we’re committed to making sure there is NO HERO LEFT BEHIND. But service dogs are expensive and resource intensive. One service dog can take two years and more than $25,000 to properly train.

Donate today and help Team Foster:

  • Provide Trained Service Dogs at no cost to our Veterans
  • Support Grants for Unmet Needs of Veterans and their service dogs
  • Promote Awareness of Service-Related PTSD and TBI, and fight for the long-term needs of our Veterans.

Team Foster is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We’ll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.

We provide Veterans
with resources that the U.S.
Military, VA and government do not.
